Most of my panoramas are merged from several shots with 35mm. This worked fine in most cases. But once I discovered a wondrous panorama days after editing with Lightroom:
Tarasp Castle is an important part of this landscape – but to double it is way too much!
So what went wrong? After importing the pictures to Lightroom I usually put pictures from the same panorama into a stack. In this case I mixed mistakenly another shot from a slightly different position into the stack. Lightroom found a miraculous way to fit this additional shot into the panorama, which resulted in the twin castle (see left picture below).
The now corrected panorama itself isn't that special, but it shows well how the small villages fit into the landscape.
